Beaufort Engineering Services, Inc. (BESI) is an award-winning, full-service engineering and construction firm with offices in Fairhope, Alabama, and Beaufort, South Carolina. Founded on the principles of discipline, integrity, honor, respect, quality, and results, we are committed to providing professional engineering and construction services on time and within budget. Our in-house team of multidisciplinary engineers and construction managers is dedicated to successfully meeting client needs from conception to completion.
Established in 1976 as Charles C. Baggs & Associates in Beaufort, South Carolina, the firm was incorporated as Beaufort Engineering Services in 1979. In 2000, Wm. Walter Bolton, PE, GC, GGP, LEED AP BD+C, became President, CEO, and partner.
Walt continues to actively lead the firm, managing daily operations and upholding our core values. As a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business, BESI is proud to be Baldwin County’s oldest full-service engineering and construction firm. We look forward to soon celebrating our 50th anniversary and continuing our legacy of excellence in engineering and construction management services.
