Wm. Walter Bolton, PE, GC, GGP, LEED AP BD+C


Mr. Bolton has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and a Multidisciplinary Program Certificate in Bioengineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts from Oglethorpe University. Mr. Bolton served as an Officer in both the Infantry and Intelligence branches of the Army, and was honorably discharged in 2002 after 10 years of service. Mr. Bolton is a Member of Oglethorpe University’s President Advisory Committee, and a Member of the City of Fairhope’s Mayor’s Advisory Committee.

Mr. Bolton is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Colorado, Georgia, Louisiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Maryland, North Carolina, New York, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Vermont. He is also a Licensed General Contractor in Alabama and South Carolina, a certified Green Globes Professional (GGP), and a certified LEED Accredited Professional Building Design and Construction.

As President/CEO of BES, Mr. Bolton’s duties include the daily management and control of the firm, strategic planning, and business development. Mr. Bolton also manages various types of contracts for government agencies including the Naval Facilities Engineering Command and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Mr. Bolton has over 20 years of experience managing government contracts including six separate $5 million IDIQ contracts.
