Job Information

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative aid to the Marketing Coordinator.
  • Various administrative duties, such as phone calls, scheduling appointments, running errands, preparing agendas, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Organizing marketing information, entering and maintaining an informational database.
  • Preparing press releases, company newsletter and event announcements.
  • Assisting in writing marketing materials, such as proposals, presentations, etc.
  • Providing assistance in creating and enhancing the company’s marketing materials.
  • Maintaining marketing calendar and proposal tracking spread sheets.
  • Assisting and designing marketing and promotional materials, such as brochures, flyers, etc.
  • Assisting in promotional strategies and product development.
  • Preparing registration forms for events and trade shows, event agenda, and invitations.
  • Organizing and coordinating events for client visits and staff events along with parties, dinners, luncheons, after hours, and picnics.

Skills and Specifications:

  • Computer proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat X Pro are a plus but not required.
  • Skilled in the areas of multi-tasking, organization, prioritization and time management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.
  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
  • Good content writing skills and minute attention to detail.
  • Understands new technologies and the application of marketing principles.
  • Comfortable with constructive criticism.
  • Good team player and should meet or exceed team goals.
